Carue is Faith's sweet, fun-loving 10 year old brother. He is such a joy. He has an amazing since of humor. He keeps us laughing all the time. He is compassionate beyond his years. His love for his sister is so deep. He helps us so much with her care. He has a heart for the homeless that makes him tear up when the weather is bad. He enjoys going out and ministering to the homeless in our community. He is a good friend to his buddies, a best friend to his sister and an awesome son! He loves Lego's, photography (click here to check out his pix!), all things Indiana Jones and Star Wars, riding his scooter and getting dirty. He is all boy and a delight. We love you, Carue!!!!

As you know, Carue is a fan of Bill the Warthog.
Well, recently the man - er, th e warthog himself - sent our family an email! Bill had noticed from this website that Carue was quite the outdoorsman (see snowy picture, below). Bill wanted to know - and I quote - "how do you dig up worms and bugs in that kind of weather [snow]? I know I'd get very hungry." Carue, thrilled with the opportunity to interact with a "flatfoot" (or "gumshoe") member of the Phacochoerus africanus family, responded as follows:
"It is very easy to dig up worms in our garden. Find a place covered in dirt, get a shovel (or use your hooves) and start digging. You are bound to find something sooner or later. I think Annie's Pasta is much better than worms. Maybe you should try it some time."
Mom and Dad (and Carue) were very impressed that Bill encouraged us to check out the book of Ephesians for ourselves, to learn more about the true armor of God.

Carue (pronounced "KAY-roo") is a most unusual name. He was named after his great-grandfather, a coal miner and guitar player, who was a wonderful man from eastern Kentucky.
